BAANABO offers landscape architecture services spanning design, build and research — undertaken directly and in collaboration with communities, institutions and partner practices in Bangladesh, the United States and South Asia.

Landscape design

Site analysis, planting and landscape design, urban open space and neighbourhood greening, waterfront and climate-resilient landscape strategies.

Design-build

Participatory design-build with local materials and labour — including community-led housing and landscape infrastructure developed through FACE.

Research, writing & curation

Archival and field research on displacement, climate and memory; exhibition curation; writing and publication.

Teaching & workshops

Landscape architecture studios and workshops for students and communities — currently adjunct faculty in the Department of Architecture at Bangladesh University.
